POI trip in New York… day 6
Please, forgive me for my bad English…
Today, was another wonderful day on the set of Person of Interest
We had so many filming locations for that day…
We decided to be vigilant (lol). Some sentinels went to check some locations during the night. At 2 am, 4 am and 6 am. But the night was quite…
I went first to Rutherford Place, sentinels already there told me that the crew was preparing the set. The shooting was inside a Church.
It was a beautiful day, warm and sunny, and we were in a garden.
We decided to go to Long Island City to check another location.
I was very happy to see Chris Fisher there! We quick realized that he was directing, so we were watching a scene from 411! When he saw us, he waved and said hello (I had already talked to him last Friday).
Sarah was on the set. But I couldn’t talk to her. Her bodyguard had his “WTF face”, as some other irrelevant who know him well said, so we gave up…
We talked to Chris, took pictures with him again. He was very kind and patient as always. He confirmed that he was shooting a scene for 411, gave us the title, and made a comment, maybe a little bit spoilerish…
This location was next to the dining room where Carter waited for John and her son Taylor in ep. 119 “Flesh and Blood”. I filmed the street, the corner, and the dining. I was happy to see the filming location where that scene that I liked so much was filmed.
And then, we went back to Rutherford. The filming was inside the Church, scenes for 410.
Few minutes later we saw Amy, Cara and other actors, taking their pause outside of the Church, just in front of us.
I took pictures of Cara with our Japanese POI friend who finally joined us!!
A while after, we saw Jim, coming out od the Church. Ths crew prepared the set for next scene. A lot of cars, a lot of extras, a lot of passerby.
Jim was very professional and focused, as always, the scene was long, with a lot of dialogue, a lot of cars, a lot of extras on the set. He rehearsed a long time with his assistant. Jim had his Reese face. But, at one point he took the time to say hello (see picture). That was very nice of him!!
Next scene was inside the garden where we were before. While he was rehearsing, he walked near us. We stayed silent to respect his concentration. He’s absolutely stunning on the set. Breathtaking…
After that, we went to the third location we had. For a very long waiting. Always scenes of 410 inside a building.
Another great day on the POI set.
